Labels for carnivorous and exotic plants at Weilbrenner

Gartenbau Weilbrenner: Rarities
In recent years, the demand for Gartenbau Weilbrenner's rarities has increased significantly. For this reason, we were asked to design a new label for these special plants with a high recognition value. The label had to do without a photo of the plant, but still be recognisable thanks to the distinctive ‘Fleischi logo’.

Mr Weilbrenner has entrusted us with a new commission: the design of a universal label that can be used for various houseplants. The front of the label should show different houseplants that blend harmoniously into one another. Thanks to its eye-catching design, this label is a real eye-catcher and clearly stands out from other labels.

Our customer, Gartenbau Weilbrenner GbR, has specialised in the cultivation and sale of high-quality carnivorous plants since the 1980s. These fascinating plants, also known as carnivores, are distributed throughout Europe. To further promote the impressive range and unique concept, Mr Weilbrenner commissioned us to give his labels a new design.

The central element of the new design is the plant illustration ‘Fleischi’. This eye-catching and self-explanatory graphic can be found on all of the horticultural communication materials and immediately conveys which plant it is. We call these plants FASCINATION because they exert a special attraction and fascination.

We have chosen dark colours for the label design to emphasise the uniqueness of the plants. The plants themselves are presented in close-ups against a dark background. The round design of the label is reminiscent of a magnifying glass, which further emphasises the special nature of the plant and puts it in the spotlight.
