As a company, we take responsibility by, whenever possible, avoiding the use of fossil fuels and primarily utilizing renewable resources. We focus on a functional circular economy in production and continually optimize our processes to further enhance sustainability.
An internal task force is dedicated to finding alternative raw materials and processing methods to reduce the environmental impact of production.

At Floramedia, we recognize the need to reduce COâ‚‚ emissions. We support our customers in lowering their footprint when ordering products through the use of ClimateCalc.
With this certified calculator, the COâ‚‚ balance of a material becomes visible. Through this innovation, customers can easily compare the COâ‚‚ footprint of various materials, such as cardboard and plastic, in an order and achieve environmental benefits effortlessly. The calculator also helps us make our business processes even more sustainable.
Waste Reduction
We handle our waste as responsibly as possible. Waste generation during a production process is unavoidable. To minimize it as much as possible, we use smart combination solutions in our sheet planning to avoid unnecessary trimming.
Through consistent separation of our waste streams and other intelligent techniques, we aim to keep our environmental impact to a minimum. Our production is FSC-, ISO 9001-, and 14001-certified, confirming that we indeed handle the environment and resources responsibly.
Green Business Processes
Our printing facility in the north of Amsterdam is not connected to the national gas grid. We use heat recovery technology to heat and cool our machinery and office spaces. This allows us to avoid using fossil fuels and significantly reduces our COâ‚‚ emissions. Furthermore, the electricity we use is 100% renewable.
